We can help academics get their articles accepted by proofreading them before they’re submitted, or after you’ve received a revise and resubmit from a journal.
If you’re a non-native English speaker, we will use our proofreading prowess to get the articles/theses over the finish line by cleaning up grammar, rewording idioms that don’t translate, and correcting any punctuation errors. For people with English as their first language, we can be the independent check you need after spending so much time with the article that you’ve gone a little word-blind.
We’ll correct mistakes, check the formatting against the guidelines of the journal/institution and send back a document with tracked changes and comments so that you can see what we’ve corrected and any suggestions we’ve made on the style, wording, etc.
Pricing is dependent on the size of the job. Turnaround time is usually one week, although this is dependent on the level of corrections needed and the length of the document.
The rate for this service is £25 per 1,000 words for articles.
For PhD theses we offer a reduced rate of £20 per 1,000 words.
